Friends, my sister’s husband unexpectedly collapsed and passed away on Wednesday afternoon while leaving his job site. Unfortunately, my brother-in-law had no health insurance, no life insurance, no savings, and was not covered by an employer-paid workers' compensation plan.

My brother-in-law was the sole income earner for his family. My sister is struggling to wrap her head around this tragic and tremendous loss while grappling with how to pay everyday expenses (rent, groceries, etc.) as well as a simple memorial service, and cremation for her husband.

Our family will help support my sister financially and emotionally while we can. Others have also asked how they can help. We have set up a Go Fund Me for anyone interested in helping my sister.
