I am setting up this page to try and help out a very close friend of mine and her family. This car originally was her late husband’s that he was very proud of and worked very hard to keep. After his passing, she did everything possible to have it stay in the family. Recently, the transmission has gone out and has caused a few other issues. This car is literally everything to them. She is a disabled single mother of 4 with 3 still at home and on a very tight fixed income. They now rely heavily on this car to get her to and from medical appointments, her boys back and forth to school on a daily basis, and anything else that may need to be taken care of. She is someone that never likes to ask for help, especially with something as significant as this. For as long as I’ve known her, she has always been one to lend a helping hand in any way she can for others, even when she doesn’t have much herself. With that being said, I’ve come here to try and help relieve some of the stress and worry that I see in her. Even if it’s not much, not only is every dollar a dollar closer to her and her boys having their only means of transportation back, but it also helps them keep something very special to them.
