Charity in Cameroon needs land to help community
Donation protected
Hi.
My name is Gavin and I am part of a small team that are helping Mbiame New Vision, a registered
charity in NW Cameroon, west Africa.
We are moved to create this fundraiser for 6 acres of land as we have all been touched and inspired by
how they are impacting the lives of many children and adults in their region.
Buying the land will be used to:
1 - Provide food for hungry people in the area and allow people
to farm on the land
2 - Educate people on organic and sustainable farming practices
3 - Harness water from nearby water sources.
(There is a severe lack of clean water in the region)
4 - Irrigate the crops
5 - Enable tree planting which will help ensure environmental sustainability,
and more.
Tata is the director and founder of the charity.
I came across him online and have been moved by his compassion and humility.
He feels a deep need to help others in his region, and even across Africa.
His vision is large and the needs on the ground are also significant.
"I am a humanitarian striving for the best for humanity across the globe. Sustainability is the key".
He lives in Bamenda, NW Cameroon.
"This is an organisation with long term, sustainable goals.
We are planning on achieving this by helping to rebuild the communities that have been lost in conflict".
Below: "Mbiame New Vision has supported farmers with groundnuts seed, to have some to eat and some to sell.
We visit these farmers to evaluate progress of crop growth".
"Many are currently suffering from hunger in my region , ignorant about organic
farming practices and home gardens and will suffer more if we don't get this
land. It will enable us to grow food and help disadvantaged families".
At present the land is rented and the current reality is that we have 6 weeks to raise the funds.
Below is a hole in the ground which locals rely on for all water needs

At present it is exciting to report that Phoenix Voyage are planning to work with Mbaime New Vision,
to create hamlets to support families and provide staff to help with implementing the various projects.
Having the land is integral to making this move move forward.
Tata: "Mbiame New Vision will be in charge of the implementation of phoenix voyage hamlets and other projects in Cameroon.
I am the project operations manager of Phoneix Voyage International. And Mercy is the Teaching and training staff".

Tata: "My entire dream is that my community and village should be a reference village in Cameroon and Africa.
My work will not be limited only to my village but will be done in any Rural Community facing the same problems.
The work so far started will never come to a stop for it is geared toward sustainability and development
and training people in what they do not know".
