Fight for Nicole
On Sunday July 11th, Nicole went to the emergency room with abdominal pain. What seemed like it would be a simple appendicitis quickly turned into sepsis requiring life-saving surgery. She has required many medical interventions, medications, and tests after her surgery due to complications; she is currently still on life support and is day-to-day. Nicole is fighting for her life.
Nicole was married to her loving husband, Zeke, this past May. Zeke and family have been at Nicole's side day and night, as much as is allowed with COVID visitation regulations.
Nicole is a role model of a human being. She is kind, warm, and spirited. She has changed the lives of many; the beauty of Nicole's spirit has led her to volunteer for the Special Olympics of NY as a coach for the basketball regionals, an instructor at the Lend A Hand Therapeutic Riding Foundation, an after-school animation teacher for the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, and more than what can be listed here. Nicole is the type of person who leaves a mark everywhere she goes, and none of us want to ever imagine a life without her.
We are asking for donations to help pay her medical bills, lost wages, and for the ongoing treatments she will need. Undergoing surgery and being in the ICU has piled on the expenses, and every bit will help them along the way. We ask that everyone pray and send positive thoughts as our beautiful girl endures this. Thank you to everyone. We appreciate you all more than we can express.
