ABOUT NATE;   Nathan Aragon is a kind, loving 26 year-old hard-working, family-man. He has worked full time as a contractor on the Navy Ships doing modernization for the navy, where he organized million dollar contracts and lead a crew of 12 people. He loves hanging out with his son, watching sports, playing pool, fishing, the outdoors and LOVES to play baseball. He is a HUGE sports advocate and passionate about all and anything baseball, especially his Padres. Besides work and sports he is very dedicated to his fiancée and infant son.    

ACCIDENT: On Sunday 2/12/23 Nate was driving home when he was involved in a serious car accident. This accident left his car totaled and he has been in the ICU in critical but stable condition. The results of his crash left him with serious injuries that will require long physical therapy. He is still undergoing tests and scans, but the identified injuries are broken femur, broken Jaw, broken nose, torn ligaments in his neck, a fractured spine and ruptured spleen. The damage to his spleen and femur required emergency surgery to correct. Both surgeries were successful, and he is in stable condition. He has been conscious the last few days and more aware the last couple days. He has undergone reconstructive surgery on his Jaw to recorrect all that was broken. He will not be able to eat, or drink, or talk for a 6 weeks Post Op. But today he was able to get outside in his wheel chair to get some fresh air and see his son for the first time since the accident. These are all baby steps towards his long road of recovery. ❤️‍  

NATE’S FUTURE   He will be transferred to an outpatient clinic where he will receive full time care around the clock while he is healing and going through physical therapy. Due to the seriousness of some of his injuries he is expected to be in this clinic for 2+ months enduring physical therapy and allowing his body to heal. He will know more next week about the time of recovery and plan of action to regain his strength and begin walking again.
