My name is Yiwen, and I am a German citizen. I've been constantly in touch with Osama Abdel Hadi and his family for the past few months who are currently enduring unimaginable hardship in the Gaza Strip.

Osama is 31 years old and lives with his wife and their young children—Karim, Amir, and Eileen. Their lives have been shattered the genocide. Bombing is a constant threat, and they face severe shortages of electricity, water, and food. They have lost their jobs, been displaced multiple times, and live with the constant fear that their lives could end at any moment.

I am using my bank account to collect the money and will then transfer it to Osama's bank account in tranches. Banks are working and can accept money in specific amounts across different times. The situation, however, keeps changing. They will use the money to leave Gaza and enter Egypt through the Rafah border crossing, once it's opened. The evacuation costs are steep—$7,000 per person. Once they're there they will need some money to manage expenses until they figure out their status and the legalities of getting work.

I am asking for your help to raise the funds needed to ensure the safe passage of Osama and his family out of Gaza. Your donations will go directly towards covering their travel expenses and helping them escape the dangerous situation they are currently in.
