I'm a single mother of two young children—a 4-year-old boy and a 4-month-old girl—living in San Diego. I am in urgent need of help to secure a safe and stable future for my family as I face overwhelming legal fees and other expenses due to a contentious divorce and custody case and a domestic violence situation. I am expected to pay thousands of dollars. I feel that I am on the brink of losing my home due to this financial burden and I am months behind on bills.

My attorney has been a compassionate and steadfast advocate, but her firm understandably requires payment. I have done everything I can to manage these costs, maxing out credit cards and shouldering significant debt to keep this process moving forward. My financial situation has become precarious, and I can no longer continue on my own. I am seeking to raise $60,000 to pay off my legal debt and to pay past due bills.
