For My Father - Proud Veteran

My father was a great man. The picture is of the three of us after my high school graduation, such an amazing day together. I am 28 now and my father is 73. He was diagnosed with cancer in July of 2018. He underwent surgery and we were optimistic about our time frame. In January he went to the hospital in pain and was admitted with the news that his cancer had spread. We had a few short weeks with him until quietly and with me by his side, passed away. My mother has been alone at a house that has been on the market to be sold, that the mortgage has become too much to take care of with all of the medical bills stacking up, and we are at a loss as what to do next. With the new expenses of cremation and funeral costs, there won’t be enough to take care of my father and pay the bills. We are asking only if you want to help us in this time, we would be forever appreciative.  I just want to do right by my father, honor him. 

A little bit more about my father, Larry Struble. He was a Vietnam War Veteran, enlisted in December of 1962. He was awarded the Army of Occupational Medal in Berlin and was awarded the status of Sharpshooter. He was proud to serve his country, and beloved by his fellow servicemen. He was honorably discharged in November of 1968.
