Oliver's Fight Against Cancer
Donation protected
Hi there,
My name is Fiona and I am fundraising on behalf of my beautiful friend Stephanie and her son Oliver.
At the age of just 18 years young, in the middle of his final year of school, Oliver is about to begin a very tough fight for his life. Please take the time to read his story so far and if you can, make a donation, whatever you can afford. Every dollar will help & will be accepted with immense gratitude.
"It is with great sadness that I share that my beautiful son is battling cancer. Oliver has just turned 18 and in the middle of Year 12. Not that there is ever an ideal time, but this definitely not it. Life on hold, he now must contemplate how to get through each day. Diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma in his foot, the aggressive tumour is a rare type of bone cancer, requiring immediate intense treatment; 7 months of chemotherapy, invasive surgery and radiotherapy.
Those of you who know Oliver will know his energy, exuberance and athleticism, seeing him excel in the athletic and soccer space, coupled with his beautiful, kind and selfless heart. He was the kid in primary school with beautiful manners, an incredible love of animals, an artist and a natural born role model and leader. Even in the face of his world being thrown upside down, he reaches out to others to ask about how we are all coping with the news.
Like many, cancer has thrown us all into a whirlwind of fear. We're doing everything we can to provide him with the care he needs, and we are already so grateful for the many who have offered support. We can’t thank you enough for your willingness to help where you can.
A big thank you to my gorgeous friend Fiona, who suggested to set up this GoFundMe page—to rally together and give Oliver the fighting chance he deserves. Every dollar you contribute will go directly towards medical bills, treatments, rehab, physiotherapy, the surgery, helping me take time off work to care for Oli and make his recovery as smooth as possible.
We understand that everyone faces their own trials and we do not take your support for granted. We are eternally grateful for any assistance you can provide, whether it be through a donation, sharing our story, or offering your kind words. Every act of kindness brings us one step closer to our goal of helping Oliver overcome this devastating illness.
From the bottom of my heart, I thank you for taking the time to read Oliver’s story and considering our appeal for support. Together, we can make a profound difference in his life and provide him with the chance he deserves to conquer cancer.
Please help us spread the word by sharing this page with your friends, family, and anyone else who might be willing to help. Your support means everything to us, and together we can give Oliver the strength and resources to win this fight!
Stephanie & Oliver are going to donate any unused funds to Peter Mac and the Cancer Council.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
With heartfelt gratitude.
