My name is Shishir Thapa( a temporary resident in Canada), and I’m reaching out for help in raising funds for my younger sister, Shisham Thapa, who is bravely battling Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). This is her second diagnosis, and unfortunately, it is a relapse.
Currently, she is undergoing chemotherapy in Nepal, and doctors have recommended a bone marrow transplant as the next step in her treatment. The total cost for this procedure, including the transplant, is estimated at around 50,000 CAD. This amount could increase significantly if any complications arise.
To date, our family has managed to collect 25,000 CAD through contributions from relatives, INGOs/NGOs, government support, and our savings. However, with her frequent hospitalizations and the previous costly treatment, we cannot cover the remaining expenses.
We are seeking your generous support to raise the remaining 25,000 CAD needed for her treatment. Every little bit helps, and your contribution—whether financial or through prayer—would mean the world to our family during this difficult time.
If you are unable to donate, your prayers and well wishes for Shisham’s recovery would be greatly appreciated. Please share this message with anyone who may be able to help, and may God bless each of you for your kindness.
Thank you very much from the bottom of our hearts,
Shishir Thapa
