Help us put our mom Hilda Cortes to rest

My mom, Hilda Cortes was more then a mother to just my brother's Pete, Danny and myself, Lilly. She was a mentor to her students in St.Pious, She was a second mom to all of the extra kids she had in the house on a daily basis giving out her wisdom to better their possibilities. She was a matriarch in our Family and the Betances Community making sure everyone stayed out of trouble. She was a Hospital Police Officer who cared about the people coming in for help no matter what their issue was. She was a genuine soul who told it to you straight. I don't want my mom to be remembered for how she died. I want her to be remembered for how she lived bringing a little bit of sunshine into everyone's life especially with colorful words. 

We didn't expect to lose her like we did especially when she was a happy smiling person just 2 weeks ago. But we did,  so we are asking for a little assistance from all of you who loved her and she loved so much.  I thank you in advance for your support because It made me realize that we are hurting together and the burden is easier to carry when you are not alone.
