Darrell Pulliam is the of person who is usually going 100 miles per hour, on a bike, to see and do everything in life he can. He is the type of friend who shows up on moving day, will take a cross country trip with you because he doesn't want you driving by yourself, travel many states at the last minute to attend one of your family member's funeral, and he makes sure to stop and see as many friends as possible when taking a vacation.
Most of you know Darrell had to go in for emergency spinal surgery at the end of December 2016. They found 2 things: a bone fragment had been broken off his vertebra and was floating around.... and he had a tumor on his spine they didn't know about. The tumor was removed during the surgery and has been found to be benign, which is a blessing; however, he gone back into surgery twice more due to infection over the last 3+ weeks. During his last surgery the surgeon decided to leave the incision open to drain. For the next 3 weeks Darrell will travel back and forth to the hospital twice a day for antibiotics, through a PIC line that was placed in his arm.
Darrell has always been one to see the humor in situations, doesn't ask for help very often, and he can make a dime stretch further than anyone I know, but it will be a while before he is 100%. Anyone could use a little help in this instance and he has definitely been a friend that I'm willing to give back to. I'm setting up this Gofundme for Darrell to lessen the financial stress of his situation. Anything you can give will be appreciated. When you have a moment, please either share this link on facebook or email it to those friends of Darrell ' s who are not on social media. If you do not have a few dollars to spare, he can always use prayers and well wishes. Thank you for your help.
