My name is Aaliyah Divine Hairston and I am a sophomore at North Forsyth High School. In addition to my studies I am a member of Exodus United Baptist Church, Crosby Scholars, Winston Lake YMCA Black Achievers and the Teen Theatre Ensemble of the North Carolina Black Repertory Company.
I have been accepted to attend the American Musical and Dramatic Academy’s High School Summer Conservatory in New York. This two week program is a training ground for teens from all over the world who want to immerse themselves in the performing arts. I have performed as early as I can remember and I know this would be a great opportunity for me to challenge myself, learn, and hone my craft!
This is where you come in to fulfill the African Proverb “It Takes a Whole Village to Raise a Child” as I am asking for your support in this effort, by contributing to my GoFundMe account. Anything you can give will be greatly appreciated and used for the sole purpose of paying the remaining $3,800 tuition balance.
