Yesterday, our beloved Charlie became suddenly and seriously ill. What started as a normal day quickly turned into an emergency, and Charlie had to be rushed to the emergency veterinary clinic in McAllen. He is currently under 24-hour veterinary care, and this evening we received the devastating news that he now needs emergency surgery.

Charlie is more than a pet — he is family. He is the big brother to Ian and Ivan, their protector, and a loyal guardian to his parents, Andy and Priscilla. Charlie has always been the one watching over everyone, offering protection, and unconditional love. Our home feels incomplete without him, and everyone is anxiously waiting for him to come back home.

Andy is currently serving in the United States Air Force, and this has made an already stressful and emotional situation even harder on our family. We are doing everything we can to make sure Charlie gets the care he needs to fight and come home to us.

At this time, we don’t yet know the total cost of Charlie’s treatment and surgery, but we have been advised that it will range between $5,000 and $7,000. Any donation, no matter the amount, will help ease the financial burden and allow us to focus on what matters most — Charlie’s recovery.
