My son, Trey, had 4 brain surgeries this past month due to Hydrocephalus. He was diagnosed at birth but was told 5 years ago that he didn't need the shunts anymore; so this was very unexpected!
After his first surgery on January 12, 2016 he had a seizure after being home only one day; which has now required him to be on seizure medication. Following his 4th surgery on January 21, 2016 he has double vision. We are hoping to also see an ophthalmologist next week!
Him nor myself has been able to work since early January and there are 4 other children to care for.
We were in the hospital most of January and are now at doctors and physical therapy 3 times a week, at least.
I have applied for assistance and disability for him but there's no guarantees...
Our main concern is getting him back to his normal life and health.
We need help with the doctor's bills/physical therapy 3 times a week; household bills; transportation costs; etc.
