I am organizing our 6th annual back to school bash for families in my community. When I was growing up, I saw my parents struggle to get me everything I needed for school. It was hard for them to take care of us and manage all of life’s challenges. That experience inspired me to start this event, so I could help single parents and families who can’t always afford what their children need for school.

This year, we’ll be giving out book bags filled with school supplies, and we’ll have a bounce house, food, and drinks for everyone who joins us. We also want to provide clothes, shoes, underwear, and t-shirts to make sure every child feels confident and ready for the new school year. The funds we raise will go directly toward these essentials, as well as making the event a fun and welcoming experience for all.

I want to encourage everyone who can donate to please do so, because you are helping those who truly need it.
