Help Killian Fight Wobblers
Donation protected
Ok Friends and Family. This is something I never thought I would do but my boy needs more help than just I can cover all on my own. So I am asking for help from all you. If you know me you know how I feel about my dogs. How I feel about Killian. He was there for me when I needed saving the most.
On Dec 8th I got him neutered and a gastropexy. Well during that the Vet cut into his diaphragm by accident. I also had them run full body Xrays at this time. Well he spent a night in the ER but he was going to be ok. The next day right before I picked him up from the Vet the call from the surgery vet letting me know that the xrays showed signs of Wobblers.
Wobbler disease is a catchall term referring to several possible malformations of the cervical vertebrae that cause an unsteady gait and weakness in dogs.
In order for us to know for sure what is happening in his cervical spine we need to get an MRI. This is very expensive. I am doing everything I can for this kid and this is where I need some help. His insurance is not going to cover his MRI or any part of the Wobblers. So I am asking if you can donate anything to help Killian fight this and stay strong we both would be so amazingly grateful.
We will be taking him to WSU teaching hospital at the end of March for his MRI and maybe surgery if that is what his neurologist at VSC and the neurologist at the WSU feel is the best option for him.
