Funeral expenses for John Kriczky

My father passed away march 16 2017. 

Since I was younger my father has been the pillar to our family. He always worked and always took care of my mom and I.

He is my hero, my guy, my first love. I always had a fear of losing him just like all kids do about losing parents.

Seven years ago my father was diagnosed with a terminal heart disease called cardiac amyloidosis. From the moment we found out we knew it was going to be a slow process. In my father's case Cardiac amyloidosis is a disease where his body makes a protein like substance and it deposits into his heart muscle which makes its stiff and rigid, therefore his heart cannot function properly and then eventually fails. My father is in the end stage. There is no cure.

Since finding out about his fatal illness my dad has had 5 cardiac conversions, a defibrillator and pacemaker implant, a lung catheter, countless medication adjustments, and wound care. The last infection has left him in the hospital. He is currently residing at Shannondell in Oaks, PA. He likes visitors whether he admits it or not.

We are trying our best to have my dad come home to where he is comfortable but financially are not able to accommodate him due to all of his handicaps. For him to come home he needs medical equipment such as guard rails for the bathroom and shower , a hospital bed, and medical supplies.

Our friends and family have been so supportive throughout this time.

I love my dad so much he's the best father a girl could ask for. He never left me and I will not leave him.

Anything would help. Just prayers are enough.
