Support Tristan's Journey to Recovery

Hey everyone,

I’m reaching out not just as someone asking for help, but as a sister fighting for her brother.

My brother Tristan has been battling alcohol addiction for almost 10 years. Tristan’s had a hard life. Much of it started early and was out of his control. But we also know he hasn’t had a perfect past. He’s hurt people, made choices that burned bridges, and let people down.

Alcohol has taken almost everything from him. He’s been living on the streets for nearly nine months and last night, he got into an altercation that never should have happened that left him fighting for his life. We are so grateful he pulled through, but it’s become painfully clear that if he doesn’t make a change now, he may never get another chance.

For weeks, we’ve been praying and preparing for the moment when Tristan would feel ready to take this step. Now, after everything that’s happened, that moment has finally come.

He’s been given an opportunity to enter a year-long residential treatment program that will provide the time, care, and structure he needs to finally break free from these chains and rebuild his life.

We’ve committed to getting Tristan into this program no matter what is raised here. But we also know many people, from foster families to friends to former bosses and coworkers, want this for him. Right now, Tristan feels like he has no one left but us. We want to show him that’s not true, that he’s not alone, and that there are still people who care and believe he can change.

We’re raising funds to cover:

• The treatment program

• Basic needs like shoes, clothes, and hygiene

• A haircut and a few essentials so he can start this new chapter feeling like himself
