Dorothy Stergiou House Fire Fund

On October 14, 2015, a house fire destroyed the home that Dorothy, her two kids and her nephew were living in.  They lost everything they owned except the clothes on their back.  

Dorothy and the kids were residents of Marseilles, Illinois.  She was raised in Schaumburg, Illinois and also lived in Morris.  She is a single mother of two wonderful kids and is also raising her nephew all on a waitresses salary.  She would never ask for the help because she would see it as weakness however, through the years I have personally witnessed her help out others when they were down on their luck.  

People have offered with clothing for the kids and items they will need and we are in the process of gathering those things however, we need to try to get her and the kids into a rental home so they do not feel so displaced. Even if you can only give a little, every little bit helps.  Thank you for your kindness during this difficult time.
