Hello, my name is Sindel. I am currently a 12th grade student with a 4.7 GPA. I take multiple AP classes, which means most of my free time is dedicated to studying and completing homework. Because of this, I am unable to get a part-time job to help cover my expenses.

Next year, my school is offering a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity: a trip to France and other countries in Europe. This would be my very last school trip before I graduate. The total cost of the trip is $6,000, and the payments are due before departure. Unfortunately, my parents are not in a position to cover the cost right now. They work very hard to support me and my two siblings, but with my older brother also in school and expenses piling up, this trip is simply out of reach for us at the moment.

This is the first time I’ve ever asked for help in this way, and it is not easy for me—I feel shy and a little embarrassed to ask. But I don’t want to miss this opportunity to explore new places, especially since I’ve been studying French for four years and have always dreamed of visiting France.
