Phil’s Kidney Transplant

Hello Everyone! 

I am starting this go fund me for a co-worker and friend of mine Phil Lam! Phil was born with a kidney disease that he knew was going to progress over the years but little did he know that his world would of been changed in a blink of an eye!

In March 2020, Phil came down with covid before there where any test available. After about a month Phil was able to come back to work and everything was normal. A couple of weeks later Phil became sick once again! 

The second illness was not Covid-19. Phil became days away from death when he was met with total kidney failure. Covid was the cause of Phil’s externally rapid kidney failure. 

Phil was able to make it to the hospital to have an emergency stent put in to start dialysis treatment! He has been on dialysis 3 days a week since that!

Phil’s twin brother is donating his kidney to Phil which is allowing him to have the transplant October, 1st 2021! 

Phil is going to be off work for 3 months without a source of income. So what I am asking for is $1,650 for Phil’s Insurance payments that he will need to pay for the three months he is off work!

Anything helps and I know Phil will have so much stress taking off his shoulders to make sure he has insurance covered!
