We are the Kalmann family of 5 in New York City. I am Daniel, usually breadwinner and hard worker, my wife is Dora, she is currently enrolled in courses at LaGuardia College, and our 3 kids are Emi, 15, Kailo, 8 and Shay, 2. We have lived in our one bedroom apartment (near great schools) since 2005. We have always paid our rent on time but last year has been difficult. I, Daniel, became very sick, I lost my job (at will) because of it, and we started to fall behind in rent ($1900 monthly). Our landlord has just delivered our termination notice. Our way out is to pay 2 months to him, or $3800. We have exhausted our family connections to ask for any additional support so we now turn to our many good friends across the globe to humbly ask for a donation to help us out of this stressful situation. Prospects for a much better year are definitely positive, I am healthy, fit and strong again and all we can do is to Never Give Up!
