Hello, My name is Enama (uh-nahma) a/k/a Thandi!
The Backstory
Born and raised on the southside of Chicago. I've been offered a once in a lifetime opportunity to go to France over the summer for a Theatre program. As you can probably imagine I am super excited!! Currently, I am a sophomore theatre major at Chicago's Premier Arts High School, Chi Arts.
Ever since I was a little girl I've had a passion for the arts. I've been involved in arts all my life. From elementary school to church, and now high school, acting has been a staple in my life. It doesn't stop here... I plan to continue on this journey as a young actor through college and beyond! This trip would help me gain the necessary tools I need to help strengthen my acting and communication skills. It would also allow me the opportunity to experience new cultures and to see the world outside of Chicago.
How you can help
As you can imagine, summer in France is extremely expensive. I don't have access to the monies needed, and limited resources to make it happen by April 1, 2019. The France Theatre program costs a total of $7,500. I have applied for a financial aid scholarship of $2500. With the scholarship, I still have to raise $5,000 to make this dream a reality. You see, I don't want to pass up this life-changing opportunity!

The costs breakdown is as follows:
The $5,000 covers everything except my round trip airfare to Paris, France. It covers my accommodations, housing, meals, ground transportation, trips, and an array of Acting classes in Movement, Acting Techniques, On-Camera Acting, Shakespeare performance, Directing, Musical Theatre, Writing, Improvisation, and Film. With this in consideration, I still need to cover round trip airfare, and pocket money.
