My name is Randy Fillion.  I’ve set up this GoFund Me page to raise money for medical expenses to pay for my hernia surgery.  Surgery date is April 25, 2016, at Henry Ford Hospital/Detroit. 

Many of you, like myself, are independent contractors who are uninsured or underinsured. You understand the challenges of self-employment.  We chose our occupations because we are driven to express our creativity and help others.

Most of you know me well, and are the best source of referral to friends, peers, neighbors or acquaintances who may work in the field and, perhaps, be in need of training or continuing education services. 

Perhaps you need continuing education credits to maintain your massage therapy certification.  Perhaps you know of someone who wants to offer Hot-Stone treatments or another workshop you liked that I taught.  I am offering discounted, pre-paid packages for continuing education and workshops/training.  By pre-sell training packages, it will help me pay for the cost of surgery and lost income during my 3-4 months of recovery.
