Hi, my name is Savanna! I'm a single mom in Mississippi. I recently had some life events happen that have since put me behind on my rent, in which my property managers have stated they will not accept any partial payments, which added into the total amount. I have had to choose between paying my bills and my children eating. I work 6 days a week and have tried relentlessly to figure this out on my own, and am in no place able to do so by myself.

I have two young children who have grown used to our apartment, and I don’t want to add stress to their lives because their mom fought and lost. I had applied for food stamps and was informed I “made too much.” All I’m asking is a fresh start to get back on my feet… this is our home, though we plan for it to be temporary. I fought for it to remain our home for the past year. If you ask anybody, I don’t ask for help often, especially over things that as an adult are my responsibility, but this has gone so far out of my ability to be super mom by myself.

Anything and everything helps.. I just want my kids to have their home remain their home.. no matter the personal cost to myself, this is for my children. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I’m so deeply sorry that it’s come to me asking and almost begging for the assistance. I am being sued for eviction, and the past two months have been hard to navigate trying to find a full payment solution. I would like to go to court on the 8th with some resolution to all of this.
