Please help our family care for our baby Thor. Anything helps!!! Thor was rescued by us years ago, he lived about a mile down the road from our family home, tied outside & extremely neglected. We found him on a 94° summer day running down our street, chasing cars with ripped up paw pads. He ended up running to our house after having to be returned to his nonexistent owners a couple days later and pretty much from that day on he was part of our family. It took us several hoops to eventually legally own him but we were in it for the long haul. This dog has enlightened our whole family & has so much more life left to give. He recently was sadly diagnosed with cancer, on top of currently fighting anaplasmosis & lymes. He has had tumors removed before from the same area you can see on his chest that were benign. The lumps recently have returned with a vengeance & rapidly grew. We assume the lymes & anaplasmosis have not helped with the swelling and have increased the size of the lumps. Luckily we got the news that his cancer is at a lower stage so they will be able to remove his tumors via surgery. We currently have a scheduled surgery date for January 5th. I know it’s a hard time for everyone during the holidays & the timing of this honestly couldn't be worse, but we’re just asking for any extra help. Even just sharing helps a lot!!!
