Help Tracy and Michael Rebuild After Tornado
Donation protected
On Sunday, March 30, severe weather made its way across Elkhart, IN. Tornadoes and 70-80 mile an hour winds tore through the city, leaving behind a lot of damage to some neighborhoods. Among those affected were my mother, Tracy, and her husband Michael. Trees were ripped from the ground and found themselves on top of their home.
Cleanup from the storm has begun just in time to help save their home from further damage from another progressing storm that is predicted to hit today, Wednesday, April 2nd.
A claim has been filed with their homeowners insurance; however, they have a pretty large deductible that is needed in order to get things taken care of so that they can safely stay in the home that they have built together for the last 6 years.
As many of you know, my mom was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer a couple of years ago. After multiple surgeries and treatments, she has been diagnosed as cancer-free ♥️
However, it has left her with a plethora of other medical problems, and the toll from these last couple of years has left her unable to work while she fights for the disability benefits that she has earned. Because of this, Michael has been their sole provider, working hard every single day to keep their day-to-day life running smoothly.
Tracy and Michael are good, loving people who do everything in their power to help those in need. They have saved me on more than one occasion.
They would never ask for help themselves, but I believe that if anyone deserves an act of kindness, it's them.
I am hoping to raise some funds to help them cover the deductible needed to get the repairs done for their home. Anything is appreciated, even if you can't donate. A simple share of this GoFundMe would help.
