Hi, my name is Nathan, i have been out as transgender since I was 12 and I am now 18. I have been saving my own money for years to afford top surgery and currently have around £1,200 but the costs are around £6000 but with aftercare too it will be more. I have been on the NHS waiting list for just over 3 years and there are no signs of any progress as the waiting lists are so long. I am desperate for this surgery as it will greatly boost my mental wellbeing and overall esteem. I will finally be free.
