I never imagined I would be in a position where I would need to ask for help like this, but I am currently fighting an urgent and deeply painful family court matter involving my young 6 year old son. For the sake of his privacy I won't share the exact circumstances in order to protect his wellbeing.

My name is Jessica and as a mother, my world has always centered around protecting my children, giving them stability, and making sure they feel safe and loved. But over time, I have found myself in a situation that has left me overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted and doing everything I can just to keep moving forward through life, the family court system, CPS involvement, and criminal investigations while trying to protect my child at the same time.

This process has been one of the hardest experiences of my life. I have been advocating for my son since he was born, and it has been a long and uphill battle navigating a system that often feels like it does not fully protect victims. At times, it has felt like a system that does nothing to protect those it is meant to serve, yet I continue to fight every day for my son's safety, well-being and the support and protection he deserves

There have been moments of fear, confusion and heartbreak as I try to navigate a system that requires resources I simply do not have on my own. My focus has remained the same through it all, my son’s safety, his well-being, and ensuring he has the support and protection he deserves.

I am currently trying to secure proper legal representation so I can fully advocate for him in court and ensure his needs are represented, heard and understood to its full extent.

Unfortunately, the cost of attorney fees, court expenses, and ongoing legal support has become overwhelming and is something I cannot manage alone.

In addition to legal representation, there are also necessary court-related requirements including supervised visitation costs, therapy and psychological evaluations and investigative services needed to properly document and support the case. These are essential steps in ensuring my son’s safety and stability moving forward.

I am not asking for anything beyond what is needed to continue this fight for my child’s protection and well-being. My only goal is to ensure he is safe, supported, and given the opportunity to heal and thrive in a stable and safe environment.
