Proper Headstone and Placement

About my brother Ernest,
Many knew him as Ernie, he was 27 a officer, a brother, a son, and a friend plus so much more. He always helped someone when they were in need. Ernest went into the hospital January 1st for just the flu,6 days later for reason the wont tell us, he had a stroke after 6 hours of trying to get the nurse to see he had a stroke the night time nurses finally saw that he did he was moved to ICU and ended up having multiple strokes and bleeding in the head. January 8th he was put on life support (completely sedated and on a breathing tube) January 15th he was taken off life support and moved to hospice. (never in my life did i think i would have to put my 27 year old brother in hospice) on January 19th at 1:30 am my brother took his final breath with him and our mom alone in the room and her holding his hand. It been the most heart breaking, unbelievable obstacle any of have faced. We feel that he should at least be placed with a proper headstone instead of a marker. something we can always put our hand on, clean up, and kiss when we say hello and see you later when we go to visit him.
The reason we are raising money, is because after sudden funeral cost we were unable to pay for a headstone. For the headstone and placement to be done at the cemetery is starting at 2250.00, im sure it will be more though it has to be a certain headstone for the area they are in. We will be soon holding a plate sale and looking into other things to raise some more money. Any little bit helps and is very much appreciated.
