Orthostatic Tremor (OT) Research

Donation protected
My name is Matthew Pezzone. I'm a 42 year old male who seemingly had a fairy tale life. In 2015 my life was turned upside down. I started having noticable symptoms of a rare neurological disease. The disease is Orthostatic Tremor, or OT. A saying for this disease is "Imagine being able to walk but not stand". I can not stand for more than 30 seconds before a tremor starts in my legs and continues into my entire body. This disease has cost me my career as a retail pharmacist, has cost me my family, and has robbed me of a good many physical abilities. It is so rare that there is very little research being done. Your donation will go directly to the University of Nebraska Medical Center, where Dr. Diego-Torres and his team work without compensation, to study causation and also strive to find effective treatment for OT. This research requires a tremendous amount of time and money strictly from donation. This campaign is not only for research but also for awareness. Please consider this for your charity dollars this year. For more information about my story visit mpezzoneot.com. It is my personal blog for sheading some light on this rare illness. Thank you!!
