Opie Acres Opossum Rescue

Opie Acres is an opossum rescue in Southeast Tennessee. Although we assist, rescue and rehabilitate just about any wildlife we focus on the Virginia Opossum. The Virginia Opossum is North America's only marsupual. They are very beneficial to the envoronment. And they're just stinking cute! We raise orphans, care for the sick, injured and displaced. Last year alone we helped over 200 animals! It is very expensive and time consuming to operate our facility.
