I’m Ariana Dalton, and I’m reaching out to you during a really tough time. My husband, Mason, was hit by a car while riding his motorcycle on Saturday, October 26th. He’s currently in the hospital dealing with a traumatic brain injury, a fractured leg that needed two surgeries, and wrist surgery as well. He also has an injury to his ACL that will require surgery in weeks to come. I’ve been right by his side through it all.
Mason is making great progress, but it’s slow and painful. He’s going to need a lot of rehabilitation in the coming months. We’ve been so grateful for all the love, support, and prayers from our friends and family—it truly means the world to us.
For a bit of background, Mason is a fighter. Just three years ago, he broke his back in a trampoline accident right before our senior prom. He worked hard to recover, and just when he was getting back to normal, this happened. It feels like we’re starting over.
Mason is an incredible person—an amazing son, brother, uncle, best friend, and now, devoted husband. He’s always been there for me and my little sister, encouraging us to be our best selves. While helping me raise her. I feel so blessed to call him my husband, and I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else but by his side right now.
I’m starting this GoFundMe because we are enduring a lot of medical bills, Mason can’t work, and I’ve had to take time off to support him. As newlyweds, we just moved out on our own, and I juggle three part-time jobs to make ends meet. While Mason was working a full time job. We’ve looked into services to help with medical bills, but we need additional support until I can return to work.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story. If you can’t donate, sharing it would help us tremendously. And please, everyone, stay safe out there and be aware of motorcyclists!
