If you know him, you know Jayden has a contagious zest for life. He is an amazing boy with a deep love of sports, animals and family. Sadly, his life changed dramatically as he was recently diagnosed with cancer. This GoFundMe was created as Jayden and his family need financial support to help cover his extensive medical expenses and ongoing treatments.

Days once spent playing baseball and basketball are now spent in the hospital having extensive testing, blood and platelet transfusions, and bone marrow biopsies. In a time where most would find little joy, Jayden has kept his sense of humor, and is trying hard to stay positive. He has a long road ahead with further cancer treatments in Spokane and bone marrow transplants in Seattle. His doctors will continue monitoring how receptive Jayden’s body is to these treatments, and continue modifying his treatment plan as needed to try to keep the cancer from progressing and to get it into remission.

In the blink of an eye Jayden went from being an active 12 year old, spending time with friends, training his animals, and playing sports, to fighting for his health. Now Jayden’s compromised immune system means he is not allowed to have visitors in the hospital, and very few when he’s home. Jayden’s form of cancer makes it unsafe for him to be around livestock, which are a huge part of his life. Outside of direct medical expenses there are additional incurred costs of transportation and lodging for treatment appointments to Spokane and Seattle and the special dietary needs he now has. The stress of financial burden is identified as the family’s greatest need.
