Here is Ben & Niki's story:
Seeing two lines on a pregnancy test has been a long time dream of mine. I'm pretty sure that I have wanted to be a mom since I was at least 8. My love for children has led me to be involved with children in anyway possible, including helping my mom with the daycare she ran, babysitting and in my adult years as a nanny. After Ben and I were married in 2010 and began to try to start a family in 2011, I was hoping to fulfill my lifelong dream of having my own children. That excitement and joy soon changed to frustration and confusion. We then turned to a fertility doctor to find a solution. After years of aggressive drugs, ultrasounds, IUI's (artificial inseminations) and multiple surgeries to correct endometriosis, we were given one final option. My endometriosis was determined severe enough that our only option to start a family is
in-vitro fertilization or IVF. Unfortunately, now we are faced with a situation where the costs are high and time is limited. My recent surgery, to correct endometriosis, has created a small window of time to get pregnant. It is very difficult to publicly approach family, friends and strangers to request any donations. But our desire to have children is greater than our pride and we know that we need the help. We are asking for any donations to help with the cost of this treatment. Even the smallest amount is greatly appreciated. If you are not able to donate financially, please help by sharing our story with others. Prayers are also more than welcome.
