On the morning of July 8, Don Vongxay, 34 years of age, passed away due to complications from COVID-19.  Don was a caring and goofy guy who loved to make people laugh.

This is a devastating loss to anyone that knew Don. I spoke to him two days prior and he sounded fine, but everything deteriorated from there. He was a kind soul who cared deeply for his family and friends and someone you could always count on to listen during your time of need

Although, Don’s life hasn’t been the easiest especially after his mother passed, he kept his head up despite all the obstacles he had to go through. 

We are trying to raise money so we can make a shrine for him at the temple and provide a plaque for him. We understand that while times are tough, any amount will help.
