My name is Wayne Murrah and my mother is Debra Holiday. Tuesday on her way to pick up my niece (her granddaughter) she was hit head on by a truck who had crossed over into her lane. My mother was injured with her ankle being fractured in three places. She had to go under emergency surgery and is going to be out of work for 8-10 weeks. This accident will cause my mom to miss 8-10 weeks worth of work or more which will cause some serious financial issues. We are not sure how long it will take for the other drivers insurance to come through. Till it does which could be awhile this has put a strain on mom. My mother has cleaned houses for over 30 years and this will affect her not only for the next 8-10 weeks but cause her additional time off as well. We are praying there is no long term affects. My mother is a hard working woman and is now raising my 4 year old niece. Mom has to pay bills for her house, hospital visits and raising my niece with no work for the next several weeks. I am going to help as much as I can with Ella but this accident has put a financial hardship on my mom. If anyone could spare anything extra to help my mom during this difficult time it would be appreciated. She is concerned about her and Ella’s well being and I felt the need to try and help with this.
