The indigenous Mayan people of Guatemala live in extreme poverty.
Every summer since 2007 a team of over 100 people from San Antonio and other cities in the U.S. go to Guatemala to install stoves and concrete floors in the homes of these people, perform surgeries, do vision test and provide glasses, do dental work, and take care of other medical needs in our clinics.
Last year we:
Our stoves team installed Stoves floors and water filters in 21 homes.
The surgery team performed over 100 surgeries.
Our dentist saw 200 patients and pulled a lot of bad teeth.
1100 people were seen in the clinics.
1200 people were seen by the vision team.
Our pharmacist filled an amazing number of prescriptions
We work hard.; we sleep on cots, we work hard, we pay our own way and we need your help.
We need money for stoves, medicine and water filters.
Our trip this year is leaves on the 18th of June. We need to be funded by May 8th,
