Hurricane Melissa has brought devastating damage to Jamaica, leaving countless families without homes, food, and basic necessities. For me, this tragedy is deeply personal. I was born and raised in Mandeville, Manchester , one of the areas hit hardest by the storm.

Mandeville is where my story began. I was just 13 years old, a little girl sitting on the verandah, plaiting all my friends’ hair. That passion grew into my life’s work and today, I’m proud to be a highly requested hairstylist. Everything I’ve become started there, in that beautiful community that taught me love, resilience, and creativity.

Now, my heart aches to see so many people from my hometown and across Jamaica struggling to rebuild after this disaster. I’ve created this fundraiser to help provide food, clean water, clothing, toiletries, and emergency supplies for those affected.

Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward helping families recover and rebuild. This is my way of giving back to the place that gave me my start and I hope you’ll join me.
