My name is Cassy and I am starting a GoFundMe for my amazing cat, Cleonardo DiCaprio.

Cleo is 11 years old and is the sweetest boy you could ever meet. Cleo began to get sick a few weeks ago. After numerous vet appointments and unanswered questions, I had to rush him to the emergency vet today because he was throwing up blood and his stool became black and tar-like.

The vets did X-rays and they believe he has an obstruction in his stomach, which is causing his constant vomiting, diarrhea, and blood contents.

Cleo has been my very best friend for the past 11 years and I cannot explain how much he means to me. I would do anything to save him, but unfortunately, I am not in the best financial situation right now. I am a single woman who lives on her own and takes care of her niece/siblings on her own. My mother passed away a few years ago and I have been completely on my own since then.

I am asking for help because my cat means more to me than I could ever explain. He has been with me through the most intense journeys of my life and I truly do not know what I’d do without him. He is my very best friend and absolutely my soul cat.

I was quoted the surgery could be anywhere from $5,000 to $10,000, and I have personally put down all the money I could at this moment ($2,500).
