Support the Manley Family

Cruz Manley experienced a spontaneous brain bleed on Wednesday, September 29th. He was life flighted to Children's Hospital in Omaha, NE where he underwent two brain surgeries. After 4 days of treatment and testing at Children's, Cruz went home to be with Jesus on Sunday, October 3rd. This GoFundMe is to help the family with the medical expenses incurred during this tragic time. The Manley family has been a huge blessing in the lives of countless people, and even in four years Cruz left an impact that will never be forgotten. We ask that you would continue to be praying for the Manley family and be sharing stories of how Cruz has impacted your life.

Here are some words from Ben and McKenzie, Cruz's parents:

Our greatest prayer has always been that God would use Cruz to save lives, we believe that is what God is doing. Your prayers were not in vain, they held us up through the darkest and most difficult days of our lives. Prayers were answered, as we were able to be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, and faithful in prayer (Romans 12:12) because of them. Please continue to pray for our family and continue to share Cruz’s story.

The battle was not lost: To live is Christ and to die is gain (Philippians 1:21), and Cruz lived his life to the fullest followed by the ultimate gain of eternity with Jesus. His time on earth didn’t get shorted; these 4 years were God’s perfect plan for his life since before he was born, and he lived them more fully than most.

We are so grateful that Cruz had not only a love for life but a deep love for his Savior, Jesus Christ. His childlike faith preached the good news to all those around him, and he wouldn’t want his story to be told without sharing the Gospel. Wherever he went he asked everyone, “Do you know Jesus?” He asked random people at the park, his cousins, and anyone who walked through our front door. Cruz, which means “cross,” is a reminder that all death has ultimately been defeated by Jesus’s sacrifice and resurrection. May Cruz’s favorite verse, Isaiah 43:5, encourages us all to share the hope of Jesus with boldness: Do not be afraid, for I am with you.

Our greatest desire is for Cruz’s story to change eternity and bring many souls to join him in Heaven. We have a feeling he’ll be the best tour guide once we get there. We can’t wait to see you again, Cruz Man.
