Dear friends,

I started this GoFundMe campaign to support my colleagues and friends in the business world who want to donate to the victims of the devastating earthquake in Turkey. The earthquake has claimed the lives of over 45,000 people, and I am deeply affected as an Australian of Turkish heritage.

I have a long history of supporting charitable causes through my work at Xavier Advertising and serving as a board member for various NGOs such as the Salvation Army, the Gallipoli Scholarship, and the Ataturk Scholarship. This disaster hits particularly close to home as many of my close friends have lost family and friends in the tragedy. One friend, in particular, has already lost more than 20 loved ones and many more remain missing.

I felt compelled to take action and simplify the donation process for those who want to help. I will collect all of your generous donations and deliver them to AHBAP Turkeys' leading charity to maximise the impact of your hard earnt funds.

Remember, if you feel pain, then you're alive. But if you feel the pain of others, you're a human.
