Hi, my name is Amira and on June 23, 2022 I was diagnosed with stage III squamous cell carcinoma cervical cancer. I have put off creating this fundraising page for as long as possible. Before my diagnosis, I was working as a full time realtor but had to stop due to treatments and the side effects of my surgery/cancer itself. I was just getting started in my career. I am 24 years old and a single mother to a beautiful 3 year old. I am not in a good position financially. Now I have stage 4, and it’s spread throughout my lymphnodes throughout my body. I have been battling this cancer for a year now and I’m trying to get disability for months.The funds from this would go towards medical and other bills. I am trying to get a second opinion from MD Anderson in Texas but that first appointment alone is $2500 out of pocket due to me only having in state Medicaid in Nevada. Donations would go towards the second opinion (flight cost, to see the doctor, hotel, etc.) as well as other bills and just living expenses. I’ve been looking for part time remote work but with treatments (4 different chemos at once) it’s really affecting my day-to-day life. I don’t have a stable schedule. I don’t expect anything from this, but truthfully I don’t know what else to do anymore. I just don’t want my son to suffer because I was too stubborn to ask for help and I am also tired of suffering.
