For those who do not know Butter, he is our fur baby. Jason gifted Butter to me on my birthday in 2017 and he melted my heart the instant I saw him!

Recently, Butter became sick. We noticed Butter couldn’t urinate properly; within 48 hours, he couldn’t urinate at all. The doctors were able to see him quickly and drain his bladder, but realized he needed emergency surgery to remove bladder stones. During the surgery, the doctors discovered a mass protruding from his bladder. Both the stones and the mass were removed and sent to a lab for testing and we should have the results in two weeks. The surgery went well, Butter sa m stayed over night and was able to come home then next day. Sadly, Butter picked up a nasty cough at the hospital (the X-rays we’re unclear if he has pneumonia so we’re playing it safe and treating him at home for it). 

God provided a way for Butter to receive the treatment he needed, and we are so grateful for the services VCA Animal Hospital provided. The bittersweet part of this is that we are now facing a huge medical bill for his treatment. We are asking for donations to help cover the cost. The total amount includes a service fee that GoFundMe charges per transaction (2.9%+$.30).
