Help me get back on my feet...
My name is Andrew Koch. A lot of you know me as Dobie on the internet. I'm here to ask for your help.
Since I quit my job in March because of a hostile work environment and some shady safety dealings I had with them, I'd been driving for Uber to make ends meet.
Unfortunately, Uber has become less profitable over the past three months as they have brought on an excessive number of drivers, leaving many of us out in the cold.
At the end of October I'd had enough of the slow-down and got myself a job driving a tractor-trailer again. Unfortunately I'm left with many unpaid bills, and a checking account overdrafted to the tune of $1,500.
At this point, I’m in need of any help anyone is willing to give, even $2 or $3 here or there. My rent is due, my car payment is nearly 60 days overdue and I don’t have any money to even eat right now.
If I lose my car, I’m royally screwed as I won’t have any way to get to work, 45 minutes away.
At this point I can see no way out of my financial hole other than to ask my friends for help. I’ve kept my financial problems a secret for far too long, and though is severely wounds my pride to do this, I feel I have no other choice.
Your generosity is very much appreciated and, as I said, even a few dollars will help. Please.
