3 months ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer. After an agonizing search for the right thing to do and considering my mother’s struggle with breast cancer, I decided to undergo a double mastectomy. I met with a surgeon and she highly recommended a plastic surgeon.  He was very caring and I felt very comfortable with him.
I was insured that the procedure would be covered by my insurance, and just a week before the scheduled surgery my insurance company denied the coverage.
It is a dramatic experience for woman to go through, unfortunately the human factor does not play a role with the insurance companies. I’m looking for help, so I can heal with a piece of mind and confidence that my stress and worries would not slow my recovery.  I’m a single woman, working full time as a Stylist.  With a minimum 2 months of recovery time, and a commission based pay I will not be able to cover the 
additional cost of the reconstructive surgery. Thank you for your understanding and any help.
I had a surgery on June 4th, there is a long road to recovery, my journey just begins.
