This afternoon our sweet, little puppy Peanut slipped out the door to our house and was subsequently hit by a car. He’s had a very tough life. He was abused. His home burnt down in the recent fires and he was left behind and abandoned. We brought him into our loving home and he has blossomed into becoming the sweetest and most affectionate little ball of love.

We just received a call from the VCA hospital on Sepulveda and they have informed us that his pelvis is shattered and he will need surgery immediately. The initial estimate for surgery, blood work, overnight stay, and a list of other procedures are already astronomical at upwards of $25,000. We are looking for other options now and are in contact with the rescue group that first coupled us with Peanut.
