Arthur is 4yrs old and lives with spinal muscular atrophy type 2. This is a rare progressive, genetic condition that causes degeneration of motor nerves and muscle weakness. Arthur currently uses a wheelchair, he has a walker and parallel bars which he has recently started to take some steps in.

Currently, there is no cure!

Arthur currently receives a treatment every 4 months via lumber puncture, which helps slow the deterioration of his muscles.

Every penny raised will go towards private physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, specialised equipment and a wheelchair accessible vehicle to support Arthur’s journey.
