Hello, my name is Cecilia and I have decided to start this fundraiser to support my cousin & his family.

I would like to share with you a little bit about Carlos and his family’s situation. He is a hardworking husband & father of 3 who dedicates himself to providing for his family. Sadly, they have been facing a tough year as he battles some unfortunate health issues.

After a routine check up In January, a large mass was found in his colon. He was scheduled for a surgery at the beginning of April to remove it. Unfortunately, a week before, he suffered a head injury in which he fractured his skull. His surgery had to then be postponed for a month until he recovered. On May 22nd, he was finally able to do the procedure in attempt to remove his mass. However, due to it's rare location it was unsuccessful. As a result, he will now be required to do 1 or 2 more surgeries to fully remove it. He has been out of work for a long time which has caused them to rely on their savings to be able to keep up with their living expenses and therefore this has put a financial strain on the family’s finances.
